What is GIBIN?

The Government Industry Business Information Network (GIBIN) is an informal network in South East Queensland comprising representatives of business enterprises, business and industry associations, universities and Government (Local, State and Federal). It is believed to be the largest network of its kind in Australia.

Objectives of GIBIN

  • Provide Network members with connections
  • Provide Network members with an informal channel for distribution of their information about business/industry events and initiatives
  • Assist Network members access information and intelligence
  • Facilitate distribution of external information of interest to members and their business networks
  • Provide a forum for face-to-face meeting and discussion of issues of common concern.
