GIBIN: Facilitating Communications, Connections and Collaboration

What is GIBIN?

The Government Industry Business Information Network (GIBIN) is an informal network in South East Queensland comprising representatives of non-profit business enterprises, business and industry associations, universities and Government agencies (Local, State and Federal). It is believed to be the largest network of its kind in Australia.

Objectives of GIBIN

  • Provide Network members with connections
  • Provide Network members with an informal channel for distribution of their information about events, grants and initiatives to assist business/industry
  • Assist Network members access information and intelligence
  • Facilitate distribution of external information of interest to members and their business networks
  • Provide a forum for face-to-face meetings and discussion of issues of common concern.
